One of the most common frequently asked questions we are asked this is totally up to you the pupil.

Every pupil is different. What we do is we focus on each individual and work with you, in detail and make sure you get the most out of every one of your lessons, understand the rules of the road and are as ready as possible when the big day arrives. We will even go through some practical mock tests with different instructors to simulate the experience of taking a test with an examiner.

What we can promise is we will have you apply for your driving test as soon as you are ready. Not before and definitely not after.

Not to sound like a broken record after the first of our frequently asked questions but every person is different and learns at a different speed. It can happen that pupils can do less than 10 lessons and pass their test first time. Most are less than 20, but again, when you are ready we will be the first to let you know. We promise. 

All our instructors use the most up to date Mini's we can get our hands on and are fitted with latest in driving school dual control technology to give you total confidence in the fact that we are there to look after you and get the most out of the learning experience during your lessons.

 We will have some extra technology we will be adding to our cars in the not to distant future which again is designed to make the learning experience as maximised as is possible. Once we have that tech dialled in we are confident it will really make the difference to every pupils learning experience. 

For the most part our lessons are an hour in length.

At Austin's School of Motoring we believe fully that an hours lesson enables you to learn at an appropriate speed and not get overwhelmed by the whole experience.

Of course, should you have a want to do lessons longer than an hour we can accommodate you. We will advise you if we think that will be to you benefit, as we have mentioned, we honestly believe that 'every pupil is different' and you might respond better to 90 minute or 2 hour lessons. We also believe in honesty and that if we don't think it's a good idea for you we will certainly let you know.
